Collectible name bikes in a similar state to this- bikes in good apparent functional condition but that have had their collector value essentially obliterated by less than stellar or correct refinishes and braze-ons- seem to me to be perfect riders if the price reflects the fact that they no longer have any appreciable collector premium. That thick, but not grossly unattractive paint and those BO cable guides could subtract a LOT of money from the price and the buyer might potentially get a great riding classic bike at a bargain price.
