I have just posted several photos of some vintage bicycling pins, etc. - mainly French, which I had found over the years. Some are tiny, and some are nearly the size of Olympic medals. Weights and sizes of each are specified in my description of each item.
Several of these were awarded to acknowledge completion of a specific Randonneur event - rather than just commemorative or souvenir medals such as those now issued for the TDF, etc. I have found out a bit about most of these, but for some I have no information.
In light of the recent Paris-Brest-Paris, I thought some of our list members in particular, now returned home, might find these quite interesting. Of course, if you can add any information I would also be most grateful. And, if any CR List members also subscribe to other related Touring or Randonneur discussion groups you might want to share these photos with those groups as well.
