Mike & Art That is the same with Delta. I measured out my hard shell case and then weighed it and it came out over size and over weight, so the upcharge would be $150 each way. I decided to go back to my Nashbar nicely padded soft case which comes in under 50lbs so Delta ONLY charges $100 for oversize but not for weight. HOW NICE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!! The Soft case works if you are carefull and pad the bike with lots of pipe insulation and extra foam. Edward Albert Chappaqua, NY, USA
