Hi Friends, I just joined your site. At my web site you can see photos of m y ride. http://www.cwhatic.netI am trying to find the origin of this bike. Specifi cally, how it came to the states. I bought it at Kisslers Schwinn Cyclery i n Beaverton, Oregon from Dirk Pauwels, son of Franz Pauwels, a national cha mpion from Belgium. I was told it was built as a spare for one of the facto ry team members. I have not seen another one like it. I put quite a few not es with the pictures that might help with identification. It was purchased in 1980. I was told that 50 of these framesets came to the states, with two
of them making it to Oregon. The mystery is this - it is a plain monochrom atic paint scheme. The only braze-ons are for one bottle. It is Space Blue.
It has only one chainring dimple on the chain stay. The dropouts are paint ed. I have not seen the same style of Professional decal on the top tube an ywhere. I appreciate any info. I located some info about the serial number.
