Yes, I go way back with Lee, back to the mid-70s when I was one of the founders of the Bicycle Repair Collective (now the Broadway Bicycle School) in Cambridge, Mass.

Turin had a small wholesale buying group that helped a few (8, if memory serves) shops buy parts in larger quantities together to get more competitive pricing.

I still have a Turin tee shirt, bright yellow with Turin's logo (a track cyclist) on the back, and a big green marijuana leaf on the front. Too bad it doesn't fit anymore...

I sill remember getting Clement Criterium Setas for $11 each! Ah, those were the days!
