Subject: [CR]Removing a stuck FW

Well, the old rear off the Cuevas is turning out to be the Wheel From Hell. Decided to remove the FW to faciliate straightening the rim. No luck with the 10" crescent. Tried the giant, maybe 16" crescent. No dice. Even tried the normally foolproof method of clamping the FW remover in the bench vise and turning the wheel. The FW won't budge. With rounded off notches of notched Regina FW's the "nuke em" option is usually removing the cog cluster (at which point all the bearings fall out) then clamping the bare FW body tightly in a bench vise and turning the wheel. Destroys the FW, but gets it off.

But if clamping the FW remover in the bench vise doesn't work, I don't see how clamping the are FW body would work any better. Any suggestions? I've heard of using ammonia or Coca Cola in the seatube to free a stuck seatpost. Any chance that will work here?
