Subject: [CR]Cirque 2008 Update - REGISTRATION OPEN !

Greetings fellow bike junkies!

As Bill already "outed", we have updated the Cirque web site (just yesterday), and event registration is now open. You can download and/or print the registration form by clicking the "Entry Form" button. We are still fine-tuning some things on the site, so you may see minor changes and expansion over the next week or so. I had hoped to get an electronic registration system set-up, and I'm still working on that, but there are still some hurdles there. We decided it was best to get registration open, and then add that option when/if we get it sorted.

Not to sound like I'm over-selling, but I encourage everyone who plans on attending to register as soon as possible. Our numbers have grown significantly over the past few years, and some events like the Seminars and the Banquet need to be capped at specific levels. We may have to do that in other areas if we continue to get increased interest. We are already generating some buzz in the region, so we will likely have a much wider audience in the surrounding area. We will be promoting the event at NAHBS and the Westminster swap too, so early registration will insure you get booked into the things you want before they fill up, which we anticipate will happen. This may be particularly true for the swap, if Westminster vendors show significant interest. Right now, CR list members have a jump on everyone else, so think about it.

I will be providing some more detailed information about specific parts of the event, changes, and new things we are working on, in posts to the CR list over the next few weeks, particularly after I return from NAHBS.

I want to take the opportunity to thank our official sponsors; Mount Airy & College Park Bikes, Rene Herse Bicycles, Cane Creek and Screen Speciality Shop. We encourage you to support them, because they support us and are helping to ensure that the Cirque is a success! Thanks also for being patient while we come up to speed. I think we will have a great event, and look forward to seeing everyone in June.

If you have Cirque questions or concerns, or need clarification or more information, please feel free to contact me. Please use the contact info from the web site (wbingham753@gmail.com), which is different from this (blkmktbks) email address. Thanks.
