CRs:

I'm posting my attaboy for Jan Heine's Cerf Blue 700C x 26 mm tires:

They're a very nice riding tire. I've had three rides of 2 to 3 & 1/2 hours on them. I can ride over worn and lightly cracked pavement with much more confidence and (almost) nonchalance. I first had them slightly over inflated, but I'm now happily using about 80 - 83 psi in the front and 90 - 93 psi in the rear. I weigh 157 pounds.

They measure about 25 mm when new; I presume that the casing may stretch to 26 mm over the life of the tire. The Cerf Blue 26 mm tires are 2mm wider & higher than the Michelin Pro2 Race in the 23 mm size.

The Cerf Blue sidewalls are definitely more flexible than the well used Pro2Race which I compared them to (using a bare tire thumb & finger squeeze test).

The tires appear to be very well made. The appearance is beautifully classic. I also liked the plastic tape over the logo which protects it until you install the tire (and remove the tape). The tan rubber on the sidewalls appears to be more dirt resistant than average, too.
