Hey everyone,

Here is how this Atala turned out. It is way too big for me at 64cm (seat tube c-c) so I knew all along I couldn't keep it and would have to resell it. It did give me some great experience building up a frame and setting up a single speed bike. You can check it out along with the 15 images in my Ebay store:

Thanks to Cycling Rendezvous members Peter for the $64 (shipped) frame that started the whole project and to Jeff for graciously providing the Italian bottom bracket that completed the build. The only thing I had to go out and purchase for the bike was the single speed freewheel. My friend donated one but it was too small in diameter for my English thread hub. I had all the other parts in my extra parts box.

I'm not sure about the pricing on this bike. If you have any opinions let me know. It's in my Ebay store now but I may go ahead and auction and let the market decide what it's worth. Now it's no $3,000 prize collector bike but it's still pretty cool to me.

Atala enthusiasts, did you see this old magazine article on a '74 Atala Grand Prix?
