Subject: [CR]Approachs to Bike Collecting?

I learned today of a gentleman that has purchased a complete, the top of the line, CHESINI bike for each of the last 20+ years. That would be interesting to see.

Some people seem to collect by marque, ex-racers, period, etc. I tend to be more attracted to bikes that have interesting design or build elements, such as my Chesini Innovation which is a lugged, compact frame from 1992; my dave moulton Criterium built of Columbus PS with huge chainstays, manipulated forks, and chromed arrowheads for the toptube cable entry and exit points; and my Merckx MX leader with all those wild shaped tubes.

What are the other types of thematic collections on the CR list?
