I was going to say late 70's, but the CR website says that Columbus tubing decal is from the 60's. Of course, the decal could be from inventory and older than the frame.

The only date code I see is on the Brooks saddle indicating 1973. But I don't even know if it is original. I'm told the owner raced in the 1960's and died in 1974. His widow mothballed the bike until sometime in the 1980's when she took it to a bike shop and (this is where I slap my head in disgust) they replaced nearly all the Campy parts with Dura Ace. The original parts are now lost to the ages.

I've posted a few pics:

I don't know if the lugwork or decals will tell someone when it was made, but does 1973 seem a reasonable date of manufacture? Are there any date-coded parts I should check? (not that many original ones remain) Also, it has Dura Ace bar-end shifters. Would the original also have had bar-end shifters (Campy) or downtube shifters?
