I was working all day yesterday in Chicago and got home very late last night, turned on my PC to see what email had come in, and was deeply saddened to read the news about Sheldon's passing. There isn't much left for me to say that hasn't already been expressed in all the kind words written about Sheldon on the list. All that I can add is that I will miss him as we all will. His friends and family, plus those of us in the cycling community have lost a very dear friend who gave us much of himself over the years.
I would like to send a card to Sheldon's family. Does anyone on the list have thier mailing address, or are we sending cards and letter to Harris Cyclery to be forwarded to his family.
