Might be because the seller has cancelled the auction twice already, then relisted it within days. Might be because he won't list the BB stampings or give any indication of year (it is a 1984 California, which I told him when he first listed it). Might be the unusual color has people suspecting that it might be a repaint (looks original to me). Might be because there are more photos of the components than the frame.

Then again, the bidding might be right about where it should be... most Gran Crits of this vintage with SR usually end up in the $1200-1400 range, this one might still get there by the time the auction closes in three hours.
