Subject: [CR]WTB/Help/Advice for tiny Centurion Road Frame

A friend of mine just picked up a tiny road frame to fit her tiny stature. It's an old 70's centurion. The frame is in great shape, however, the steel components are rusted, pitted and need to be replace. Seeing the bike is so small, 24" rims, 135mm crankarms, I need to get a bit creative to help her rebuild it. So I'm looking for some advice, help and maybe some parts.

We are starting from scratch so we'll be looking for the following:

24" wheelset- thinking something like the old Terry women's wheels. 24" 520 or 600a rims, 5 or 6 speed, 126mm spaced rear. Crankset- Maybe not as short as the original 135mm, but something in that range. Square taper, she's pretty insistent she doesn't want steel/ cottered Fenders- To fit said wheelset. Something that isn't as wide as a middleweight, does anyone make custom fenders?

I've also looking into crank shortening options. This could work as she is pretty slight and I'm not too concerned about the amount of stress/force she would exert on the arms.

So if anyone has some old Terry wheels lying around or juniors parts, please let me know. I would also appreciate any advice in this arena, especially from those of you who have undertaken something along these lines.

Thanks a ton.
