The most obvious difference is in the reinforcement of the derailleur-hanger stop-tab. The Taiwanese dropout uses a "sharkfin", whereas the Italian dropout uses a "nautilus shape" that follows almost the entire circumference of the derailleur hanger.

To my way of thinking, the Italian campy dropout seems to have a larger and much more aesthetically-pleasing triangular cutout window than the Taiwanese campy dropout.
