I am looking to identify some odd shifter bosses I found on a Centurion, Ir onman frameset, I got for free. Seems like a reasonable quality frame from the late 80's. The shifter bosses have a "double D" post like that found on the standard boss (looks a little shorter...... ) but the base is not s quare, it is round with single square tab which points forward. Can anyone tell me which shifter(s) this was used with, and there a way to convert th is to standard boss?
I wanted to avoid replacing them but if thats the only option... that's wha t I will do.
