Hi John,

Locomotief has enough heritage and history in pro-cycling: http://www.sini.nl/cycling-history.com/renner.html?search=team&fc=L

(scroll down about 2/3 of the page, there are 4 Locomotief teams, one of which, if memory serves, had Peter Post as most promiment member)

Gazelle buys (the Amsterdam based) Locomotief in 1968, so I guess they continued the brand name for a while. Your frame is different in many details from the same period Gazelle Champion Mondial's, although the decal on the toptube has some similarity.

Enjoy it, ride it, dont part it out!
