Hey, don't feel bad. It s part of the hobby and works the other way too. For example, I had a Concor time trial saddle that I paid three bucks for at Trexlertown swap. I sold it to some guy in Japan for $100 bucks.
BTW, city bikes were a big hit at the Handmade bike show in Portland, OR.
