Same thing happened to me recently...I cleaned the badge and the der. surface with alcohol and applied a thin coat of Barge cement to each surface, let it set up for about 15 minutes and applied the badge. You can find Barge at the Shoe Mill in Tempe, or any store that sell Birkenstocks. I just made that repair last week, so I have no idea what the long term results will be. Super glue might be even better, but Barge was out, having just repaired my favorite pair of Birks...

Howdy folks.

I have an NOS Simplex Super LJ triple front derailleur that has never been mounted. I discovered that the Simplex "badge" (just a thick sticker as it turns out) has come unstuck from the outer link. What is a safe (ie. won't ruin it) and hopefully permanent way to restick the logo? I will not use the derailleur at all if there's no good way to keep that badge where it belongs.

Thanks in advance,
