Bear in mind that with a fillet brazed frame, that slot is always found entirely in the actual tube. Admittedly, I haven't seen millions of fillet brazed frames, but I've seen a fair number, and none had failures or cracks at the bottom of the slot. Regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
