OK, I've ascertained that my Gangl frame is 1986 but it definitely qualifies as KOF. Which means I can be period correct outfitting it with a late Super Record group or a 1st generation Campy group which must not be named. The SR group would be less expensive as the early version of the nameless group with engraved cranks and derailleur can go for big bucks. Or I could opt for a later version of the nameless group for less money. Any suggestions? I've never experience the evil of the nameless group but I'm seduced by its beauty. It's probably heavier but does it work any better? If I'm venturing into the realm of OT please respond off-list. BTW,the frame came with a head-set from the nameless group.
