Not the best scan, but so much to see! Belgians Pé Verhaegen (left) and Hector Martin of the J.B. Louvet team pose after the Briançon-Evian stage (stg.17) of the 1927 Tour de France. Note the distinctive chainrings, mini front fender protruding behind the fork crown, front fender brace, and the thoroughly perforated saddle on stage winner Verhaegen's bike.
