Best glue for leather to plastic is called "Barge" brand contact cement. It's available from Tandy Leather stores and ocassionally in good hardw are stores.

Recently bought a couple of used Avocet women's touring saddles from a l ist member - this has always been my wife's favorite saddle. On the rou gher of the two, the leather has cleaned up nicely with Proofhide, but t he leather is separated from the plastic shell in a couple of places. W hat is the best type of glue for reattaching a leather cover to a plasti c saddle like this? Any little tricks of the procedure I should know?
