It's neato! Thanks George! I really like the down tube "decal" with the gold showing through the painted on band or whatever.. I also like what I think are the gold toe straps on pista pedals! Obviously the Pope was a Crit racer!

Here's a link to a photo of the bike in the Colnago showroom/museum in Cambiago. It's a photo I took last year. The former Pope's bike isn't in great shape, it's behind glass and my photographic talents fall well short of Ray's. My estimate of the bike presently on eBay (which really isn't similar to the Pope's bike save that it's gilt) is about $145,000 short of Ray's and $245,000 shy of the seller's "Buy It Now" price. However, the eBay ad does say "Buy It Now or Best Offer". George
