No. The Raleigh Team Pros were some of the first bikes built with 753, and it appears Reynolds initially frowned on chroming on 753 frame, as well as insisting they must be silver soldered. My Team Pro has no chrome at all. As I learned from UK list members soon after I bought mine, 753 was, strangely enough, available only in metric gauge tubesets for the first few years. I was therefore able to conclusively identify mine as a 753 Team Pro from the French dimension tubes and the 26.8 mm seatpost. If yours has an SB serial number, it is Ilkson production. If it also has metric gauge tubes and a 26.8 post, it is 753.
