I just completer a re-gluing of the cover's edges on my Centurion Pro tour 15's saddle.

I used a third of a 5/8oz tube of Super-Glue Fix-All adhesive that I bought at the .99cent store. This is a thick, clear adhesive like Shoe-Goo, has nasty vapors and sets in ten minutes. I applied to both surfaces and the grip seems quite fierce. As dried, the consistency is quite firm, about like typical hot-melt glue but by no means brittle.

I wish I had mounted the saddle to a bike before glueing the second flap, as it was difficult to gpush the flap fully over the edge. But with just a quarter-inch overlapped the bond still seems really permanent.

The bike's for sale by the way. Almost-unused 1983 Centurion Pro Tour 15, 60cm C-C, with AT cranks, fully-chromed frame (covered almost entirely by original gold paint) and GranCompe cantilever brakeset plus 40h wheels with cartridge hubs. $375 plus actual shipping, or $325 to local buyer.
