It's lugged steel with forged dropouts, chrome on fork, and internal top tube brake routing. The only marking on it is Japan on the cable guide under the bottom bracket.
I emailed the bike shop in Germany listed on the decal, they said it was early 1990's from Belgium. Mark Agree already confirmed this is not an Eddy Merckx. Any ideas?
