Subject: [CR]FS / trade Maybe a Mirella Frameset

Friends: I have a frame...probably Mirella based on CR list friends advice, but no proof, that is simply to small for me, now available for sale or trade for a similar frame in my size.

52.5cm ctc, nice gold color, all decals gone, Campy 1010 (a) drops with eyelets front and rear. Nice thin lugs, semi sloping fork crown, chrome crown, dropout faces and head lugs. A fair number of scuffs, and the chrome has some light rust issues, but overall in darned OK condition. It came with a PAT '72 Campag record rear derail, Tipo Hubs, Campag steel cotterless cranks with alloy rings, Barelli brakes, to give you some idea of the level of bike (I am guessing the parts are all original). I am NOT parting it out, my goal is to find a similar frame in my size to build up with the "Mirella" parts.

Parts NOT included, just the frame / fork.

Based on the quality of the workmanship, thin lugs, nice reinforcements at the bridges etc, I would have said that it was high end Columbus tubing. However...seatpost is around 26.8 (guessing here as no seatpost came with bike) and there is no rifling in the steerer tube, so my guess is that it is moderate end tubing.

I got pics if anybody is interested.

150 bucks (US) takes it, shipping included to the lower 48 USA. If you are outside the lower 48 and really want it, lets talk. Or if you have a similar frame in 55-56CM ctc, that would be even better. OR...if you have something else cool / wierd to trade, don't be afraid to suggest. Or make me an offer.

Cheers from Dallas, Texas, USA, Earth (where everything is bigger...except that frame) -Clyde R. Putman
