I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the honourable fellow listmember Kim Kallow for pointing us to the site on the NOS/NIB T.A. Criterium crankset, and more specifically via link to a translated version which is most instructive and helpful:
"CRITERIUM secondhand attention must 5pin holes in the spread of crack in it and what is common."
Indeed, (and I have confirmation on this from another listmember) the spread of crack does require attention not to look like a common secondhand pinhole.
