The Duall first appeared in Colnago's 1988 brochure.

The Carbitubo and the Bititan first appeared in the 1989 brochure. The Duall was no longer in the lineup by then.

The 1991 brochure shows the Carbitubo (in both road and time trial versions). The Bititan does not appear in the lineup.

AFAIK, Alan made the Carbitubo as well as the Duall. It's good to know that the Carbitubo, like the Alan, is on topic. Just kidding!

Those are the only Colnago brochures I have. Scanned versions of the 88 and 89 brochures are available at Mark Bulgier's site:

You must not have read my response to Jerry:

" I sold a few of those DUALL models at cycles de ORO when they were a current model (as a matter of fact, I think they were in the era of the CKR, Inc. being the Colnago USA importers, a topic we touched on not-so-long-ago in reference to Gianni Motta bikes).? That must have been about 15-20 years ago; early 1990s? So technically we are barely (if at all) on topic... the tenuous connection to "vintage" being the Alan connection and those glued and screwed designs date from the late 1970s. "

I had the impression that the Colnago - Alan Jerry just purchased would be considered an off topic bike in light of it being post 1983 and glued aluminum w/shimano 90's parts?

And if the List Master would like I can provide some photo's of R&E frames for the USA site. Nice touring frames, great lug work and some unique features like a bottom bracket dynamo braze-on
