Hello Lee!

I was surprised to see your notice for a fully Campagnolo equipped Morella bicycle from the very early seventies. I bought mine from a Schwinn dealer in 1972 who had gotten a container of these bicycles and really did not know what to do with them so he advertised the bicycles in the local newspaper in Ohio and had them priced at $150.00. The bicycle frame is made of double butted Columbus tubing and originally ran on tubular tyres. The rear derailleur is a Campagnolo Nuovo Record stamped 1972. I restored my bicycle in the 1990s and returned to tubular tyres. The hubs are high flange Nouvo Record. I have kept mine serviced so thay still work well. In cross 4 spoke configuration, the wheels are really stiff. The only decals that were originally on the bicycle were a 4 stripe band around the ttt handlebar stem and a Columbus tubing decal on the seat down tube. The name Mirella is in placed in large letters on the flats of each seat stay. These are brazed onto the seat stays. I hope my info. helps you a little.

A full Campy Morella just popped up locally. Does anybody know anything about this manufacturer from the early '70s?

Thanks!

Lee
