Funny you should mention corks Nick.

Years ago, a comical friend of mine, Anton, dropped by for some humous. While chowing down it was obvious that he was perturbed by something.

It turns out that he smelled Cheval Blanc in my house, one of his favorites (but totally inapproriate with humous). This was very strange since we are strictly beer drinkers here.

The mystery was solved when he tracked down my box of stems. Inside was the famous AVA death stem. It had a cork judiciously tucked in its hollow extension.

This stem is now on another friend's PLX-10. Unfortunately he has no sense of aesthetics or histoy. The first thing he did, once he got my stem, was remove and dispose of the cork.

So Nick, it seems that I won't be able to offer this one to you. My sincere, apologies.

Warm Regards,
