I never saw those until the early-mid eighties, in lo-flange, satin-ano'd variety.

I only remember them because their factory grease, as supplied to Cannondale, turned to hard plastic within a few years of infrequent use. So yes, they were an OEM supplier at least at the VERY end of the CR period. The same mid-priced bike ($500 at the time) also carried Miche pedals with early Suntour Sprint derailers and ratchet shifters.
