Subject: [CR]Amended: Looking for an old, 1940's fork....

Hey again, OK, Thanks for the suggestion to change the steerer tube, but...... the fork that came with the frame was not an appropriate match, it is a later addition that was nicely painted to match the frame.. For now I'm using a spare fork, a 70's English touring, I believe..

I would really like to find a fork, something along the lines of a twin plate style crown, made for long reach brakes and fenders......

There has to be one collecting dust out there somewhere?? Any one over in Europe have one?? I'll gladly pay shipping...... Thanks, John Morrison, Anaheim Hills, SoCal

Hello fellow list members, I have been working on a 1940's "cambio corsa" project bike and have found that the fork is too short, arrgh!!

So, I'm looking for an Italian, age appropriate fork, with 170mm of steerer tube... can anyone help?? Thanks, John Morrison, Anaheim Hills, So. California 949-400-8078
