Subject: [CR]Frame builder info sought: Toneh Chuleewah

I just bought a frame by a maker of whom I've never heard: Toneh Chuleewah. The frame looks very interesting. Curved seat stays. Internal routing in the chainstay for the rear derailleur. And my size! 65cm center to center seat tuber and 60 cm ctc top tube.

I understand he is Cherokee, originally from Oklahoma. He previously owned "The Bike Stop" in Wichita Falls, TX. I spoke with the current owner, who told me that while operating that shop Chuleewah made, perhaps, 20 or 30 frames. The current owner also said Chuleewah was one of the finest bike mechanics in Texas and trained the current owner. He went on to be a jeweler:

and I was told he is currently back in Oklahoma working as a machinist.

You can see the seller's photos here:

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who knows how to contact him or has other in formation about him.

Thanks,

David
