I've gone as far as I care to with this. The guy is so bad he sent what he calls an eBay Invoice from a gmail address. It asks for Western Union payment. I'm forwarding to all concerned, including craigslist where the ad is still listed. Here is the info I've gathered from the little %#*!: Contact info: stiven potcovaru <stiven.sta@gmail.com> Asks for payment to be sent to: Vanessa Cutter 1d Colet Gardens London W14 9DH United Kingdom

Dave, it strikes me that you've done enough initial spade work here, that it'd be worth going a little further. I suggest you consult this site:

http://www.419eater.com/

For those who have not seen it, you will find it both amusing and really quite astoundingly cruel... the scammers scammed, and the results are...well, see for yourself.

Dave, given all the work you've done, just imagine the scammer you've been dealing with sending you a photo of himself with a sign around his neck: "I am an idiot." You think I'm joking? I'm not. People have done that, and worse. You could post his pic for all of us to see, and have the satisfaction of a job well-done. Check out the 409eater site, it's beyond belief.

I've been sorely tempted to try some of this myself...but I'm just not obsessed enough to take the time.

Interesting notion, though.
