Dear List Members. Hi, anybody looking for the next restoration project? This bike would make a great addition to this list, and it would be wonderf ul if the bike went to someone who valued it. I thought about it, but I al ready have four bikes in a studio apartment, and I'm still not finished wit h my Schwinn Voyager. Please don't let this bike fall victim to the Bay Ar ea's Fixie fad. Thanks for looking.

1972 Raleigh International Bicycle

For Sale is a Raleigh International bike with original Campagnolo component s. The Raleigh Carlton International (the second from the top of Raleighs production line) is in good running condition. It was my commute bike for many years to and from work. It has never been crashed. I kept it in good running condition but let the paint wear and it has some light rust on fra me as I used this for a theft deterrent. Other bikes parked near mine that were less expensive but in better looking condition were stolen and the Ra leigh was not because it looked in well used condition so I guess my plan w orked all these years.

531 double butted tubing throughout.

Weinmann 610 center pull brakes and quick release brake levers.

Brooks Pro saddle.

Front wheel rim is MAVIC G-40 (Made in France) with sew-up tire and Maillar d 700 hub.

The paint color is Champagne.

Serial # F6879.

Frame measurements are:

Seat tube: (c to c) 24 ½ inches, 62.2 cm

Top tube: (c to c) 23 inches, 58.4 cm

Wheelbase: 102 cm

10 speed bike

The bike has been stored handing up in the garage for the last 15+ years an d not ridden\u2026 but she still rides like a dream.
