Subject: [CR]Bike Color Question

I've always been curious about the name of the color used in the Colnago Mexico (?) Oro shown on page 74 of Stevenson's "The High-Bicycle"( Harper and Row, 1982). Does anyone recall this color-wasn't it common for a time? I always thought of it as a brown variation and haven't seen it for years. The image is of a very handsome bike with gilt toe clips, shifters, chainstays, seatstays, fork, derailleur cage and headset. The bar tape, and cables are yellow and it sports a dark gold colored water bottle. Curiously the saddle is black (suede?). Brown would have been a lot cooler. I can't help but wonder what happened to this beautiful bike-I hope it's in a good home-I wish it were in mine! George
