As long as we're bringing up Austro-Daimler, now there's brown done right. Even without Jerry's Romic custom, they put out some sexy browns. Two nice examples are the Inter 10 that, because of its depth, can look anywhere from a maroon to a chocolate brown. One of my Vent Noirs is also more of a bronze than a smoke, which combined with the honey Brooks saddle and tape looks quite rich IMO. For worst colour, I think I'll nominate my neighbor's Pepto pink Colnago Arabesque.

Well, there is brown and there is brown.

Here is my Austro-Daimler Superleicht on the CR website, Originally tan, but the late Ray Gasorowski, builder of Romic Cycles, repainted it chocolate brown but preserving the tan on panels with the original decals. Personally, I like it, but maybe that's only because it reminds me of Ray.
