CRs:
I have seen the Mavic MA2 listed as both anodized ("argent" finish, argent means silver, I believe) as well as non-anodized.
Try Simichrome or Mother's aluminum polish on the rim. If the rim gets bright & the cloth gets black, it was non anodized.
I prefer Mother's polish for shining up a good part. I think that the grit is finer and less prone to leave scratch marks.
