Me thinks Mr. Hobbs comes from the Henry Ford School of Painting.

Also Digressing to Mr. Petry's comments (BTW Mark a great write up). I don't get my frames painted anymore because of the following. When wife knock them down (Because of house work or whatever), she comments get the damn frame out my house or I will run it over with the Land Rover!
Any other reasons for keeping that great patina I'm all ears.
