Subject: [CR]ATTN: Framebuilders (Past and Present)!

Esteemed Brothers and Sisters of the wheel: I am "getting my ducks in a row" in preparation for the framebuilding class I will begin next week. As discussed in greater detail in an earlier thre ad, my plan is to build myself THE 1978 touring bike. Thanks to some generous and helpful listmembers, I will be getting my paws on a 531 tubeset, Campagnolo 1010 eyeleted dropouts and a Cinelli lugset.

I am, however, missing a couple of parts that just might be kicking around your old framebuilding parts bin: both front and rear Campagnolo braze-on derailleur cable guides (for the to p of the bottom bracket shell) and chainstay derailleur cable stop. Could a lso use a Cinelli fork crown, as I'm not sure one will be included in the l ugset I will be getting. If you happen to have any of this stuff, please drop me a line and lemme kn ow if there is any chance that I could purchase said items from you and pay for priority shipping either to Brooklyn (need to be received before Satur day the 3rd) or to the United Bicycle Institute, located in Ashland, Oregon . Thanks, gang!

Matthew Bowne Brooklyn, New York
