Hi all:

I saw this mint condition Bianchi Trofeo road bike with Super Record derailluers, 6 speed Regina freewheel and chain, Modolo brakes and levers, Mavic MA40 rims, and a bunch of other on topic components at the Cycles of Change bike shop at APC in Alameda. My guess at a specific year woiuld be 1983 at the earliest, but I am no expert on Bianchi history. Maybe another list member would like to help me with a more exact year? Pics are available if you message me privately. I'll also be posting to CL, but thought CR Listers would want first crack at this well preserved bike.

I've got it priced at $600-700, sliding scale depending on your level of affordability and how Cycles of Change APC resonates with your values. I've been working there for a few weeks and saw it in their 'for sale' cage looking neglected. I took it down, dusted it off, and was impressed that most of the parts are original, save for the pedals and seat.

That's what I do here- sell some bikes, do some outreach, get the word out about what the shop does, etc. There's plenty of other on topic vintage road bikes and parts for all yall to scavenge. For now, we are wanting to have customers come down and pick up bikes for sale. I will box up and ship stuff on a case by case basis. We want to keep it local and low impact.

MORE ABOUT WHO WE ARE: Cycles of Change APC is a not-for-profit community bicycle shop which opened in July 2006. It is a collaboration between Cycles of Change, a 10 year old East Bay youth bike education program, and Alameda Point Collaborative (APC), a non-profit which manages housing and services for a 200 unit residential community comprised of 500 formerly homeless adults and families. We are working together to operate a sustainable bicycle center which is a place for bicycles and people to come together in order to help strengthen the community of the East Bay.

OUR LOCATION: We are located in Alameda in the middle of a large hangar/wherehouse on Alameda Point (west Alameda, former Naval Base). We are across the street from the APC offices at 677 W. Ranger Avenue. You can easily spot the shop by the 40-50 wheels that are hanging on the fence outside the entrance. To find the shop, go through the big wooden "barn" attached to the warehouse and into the middle of the warehouse.
