I am prepared to negotiate the immediate purchase of this De Rosa track bike from you if you can demonstrate that it is an official Sammontana Team Bike as you state. Since such a designation would greatly increase the purchase price, you must correspondingly produce proof of the bike's status as an official Sammontana Team Bike. This proof must consist, at a minimum, of a period photograph of a known Sammontana Team rider on this very bike and a notarized letter from this rider and from Ugo De Rosa certifying this bike as an Official Team Bike. The purchase price will increase with the status of the rider in question-I am willing to pay top dollar for a bike rider by Moreno Argentin himself. If this proof cannot be provided, I would be interested in purchasing only the frame-set at a market price for an ordinary De Rosa track frame-set-depending on demonstrated condition. This arrangement will provide you with a very handsome profit if the bike is genuine and, if not, prevent the embarrassment of selling a fake. I await your answer.
