Hi, I've been reading these responses and wondering why UPS and FedEx? And, wh y risk damage to your bicycle? I've been in the shipping logistics busines s for over 30 years. Here is another option to consider. There is a domesti c transportation campany named Forward Air that act like an scheduled airli ne but moves things by truck. Freight Forwarders use them. They are not pub licly known, however the average person can use them too. They have good ra tes and good service. You can either build you own wooden crate for your bi kes or use their containers. Their freight terminals are located near airpo rts so if you are flying in you can easier get a taxi to their local termin al. At one time I had my own shipping company and used Forward Air daily to ship cargo. Does anyone want to start a shipping business for bicycles and motorcycles?? I have the US and International experience. Contact me: info @scmediate.com
