This is a very cool bike! The lugs, the paint, and the build........ Item 230252368006 or, http://ebay.com/<blah>

If you want to see where Herse and other constructeur's got their "French" lug shape look no further than the pieces on this bike. They were manufactured by A. Crozet. 1940's. Some constructeur's like Herse welded on longer rounded top extensions to the bb shell behind the seat tube, and under the down tube before brazing the frame up.

As a builder and painter this bike speaks to me, the frame is so honest, the paint so flamboyant! I placed the opening bid but know I won't be able to go the distance,,,,, but if I could I would love it for all the right reasons and on many levels. This from a guy who swears he doesn't collect, or have any particular affinity for track bikes. Cool bike, would be a hit and would probably win something at Cirque! Buy it so I can see it ok!
