Hi All,

It seems to me that a lot of you are pretty unexperimented in the ways of w ives. As a guy who has been through more wives than I can remember, let me tell it you straight: the best form of defense is attack, because if your w ife get's you on the defensive about numbers of bikes and outlay, you're de ad.

Mention of Mothers in law are generally a good way to deconcentrate the en emy. More experienced men will go for the six second rodeo (offlist please) . More subtle diversionary tactics are available, the best being mentionnin g the price that could be obtained by selling the sum of the parts on ebay, presenting our hobby as a great investment.

On another topic, I picked up a good Normandy hub yesterday. Imagine my hor ror when I cleaned it up a mite and the dreaded Campagnolo logo appeared. T he thing is a clear copy of an early single ring drilled Normandy.

Does anybody have a year on this one please ? Or the name of the guy who ma de it, and on what day ?
