A very possible extension to Steve Birmingham and Jeremy Rauch's discussion
of research topics that can be associated with the USBHoF comes from stand ard practice at library schools.  As we see from Steve's manual accumulat ion of data and Jeremy's appreciation of on-line sources, the task is alrea dy quite tangible, but lacking a cumulative index.  Once the Hall of Fame
is duly esconced, and has suitable institutional trappings, it becomes a p erfect candidate for an internship effort, tailor-made for focussed cycling
projects, at an accredited library school.  UC Berkeley is one such li brary school.  Simmons College in Boston is another.  Notably one K D had approached the Museum of Fine Arts regarding a bicycling exhibition , featuring pieces from his extensive collection, and was summarily turne d down.  Harrison Lee Stockton, CA Estados Unidos
