If you are thinking of having anything anodized there must be NO STEEL attached.&nbsp; Many of the aluminum headsets and a few other parts, have pressed-in bearing races and these cannot take the anodizing process.&nbsp; There is no dimensional change to have something anodized.&nbsp; See the Steve Maas (sp?) web page on his anodizing.&nbsp; I have threatened myself to start this process.&nbsp;&nbsp; BT

I have a NOS threaded headset in silver alloy I&amp;#39;d like to have anodized to black.

Has anyone here done this before? Any issues to foresee re: proper fit?

Alternatively, anyone have a black OMAS or Edco headset, BSC, in LN condition they&amp;#39;d trade for one NOS silver OMAS Superleggera in box?
