If you are thinking of having anything anodized there must be NO STEEL attached. Many of the aluminum headsets and a few other parts, have pressed-in bearing races and these cannot take the anodizing process. There is no dimensional change to have something anodized. See the Steve Maas (sp?) web page on his anodizing. I have threatened myself to start this process. BT

I have a NOS threaded headset in silver alloy I'd like to have anodized to black.
Has anyone here done this before? Any issues to foresee re: proper fit?
Alternatively, anyone have a black OMAS or Edco headset, BSC, in LN condition they'd trade for one NOS silver OMAS Superleggera in box?
