Falcon made the Merckx bikes in at least a couple of different price levels. This is a lower end model. I'm not sure I believe the claim of 531 tubing, although it is possible it is 531 straight-gauge main tubes. I think maybe it is just the camera angle with the fork. But even if the fork is fine, I personally wouldn't have any interest in this bike at $400. But perhaps someone will.

hey group, does this look like a Falcon Merckx? the thing has a kickstand and a rear refelctor. and does it look to any of you like the fork is bent back, as in crashed? -devon warner san francisco, CA, USA
